Wonderful stay in central location
friendly reception staff helpful cleaning staff good breakfast selection
I found the reception staff very warm and friendly. The cleaning staff were also very friendly and helpful . I appreciated the breakfast with a good selection of both cooked English breakfast and continental buffet style.
The air conditioning seemed to have a limited cooling capacity. It struggled to keep the room as cool as I would have liked.

decent stay with breakfast issues
poor breakfast undercooked bacon
the breakfast quality was subpar. food was served in bain marie dishes, which failed to keep the food adequately heated. i found the fried eggs cold the bacon was undercooked and swimming in grease. the mushrooms tasted canned. this did not meet my expectations for a hotel of this supposed standard

i found the staff very helpful and they gave great local dining recommendations. the breakfast selection included a cooked english breakfast and a continental buffet. the cooked food was hot and i could order an omelette. the seating was pleasant with tables spaced well, which i liked.

stuffy room overpriced minibar
the air conditioning was a joke!!! it barely worked, and the room felt stuffy even with it cranked up all the way. cleaners totally missed refilling the toiletries. no shower gel! and the minibar prices were outrageous. i mean, seriously overpriced drinks and snacks for what they were. felt totally ripped off for such poor attention to detail.

My room included air conditioning and a work desk. The location made access to the river very easy. I also found on-site car parking very helpful. Breakfast service offered a lot of choice.
